Summer Reading 2026
Welcome to Summer Reading 2026!
Reading during the summer is an excellent way to stay engaged, strengthen literacy skills, and prepare for the academic challenges of the upcoming school year. The books and activities selected for your grade level are designed to encourage critical thinking, expand your perspective, and foster a lifelong appreciation for reading.
All students are expected to complete the assigned summer reading before the first day of school. In addition to reading the selected text(s), students should be prepared to participate in discussions, assessments, and activities related to their summer reading assignment when classes begin.
Please review the grade-level requirements and assignment details carefully.
We encourage you to make reading a part of your summer routine. Whether you're relaxing at home, traveling, or spending time with family and friends, a good book can take you anywhere.
