Attention Incoming 9th grade students from Nottingham Middle and Parkville Middle

You DO NOT need to make a registration appointment. You must complete the Residency Re-verification process to avoid your student’s schedule being withheld. Please visit the Residency tab for more information on how to complete this process.

You MUST RESIDE in our zone to attend Overlea. Please  click here to check your address BEFORE making an appointment. Out-of-Zone enrollments will be rejected at the time of application, and Overlea does not accept tuition.

New to Baltimore County Public Schools or transferring from another BCPS school?

Registration for 2025-2026 begins on July 1st, 2025, and is by appointment only. Appointments are held Tuesdays and Thursdays in July from 9:00 AM -2:00 PM, and Tuesday-Thursday in August from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Appointments can only be made using our sign-up genius, which is mobile friendly!  Please review our registration checklist here and below. Be sure to complete ALL the items before making an appointment.

New to the country or have foreign credits?

Please contact the Welcome Center at 443-809-6752 to schedule a screening appointment and transcript evaluation BEFORE making an appointment at the school. Our school works with the Welcome Center as well as Parkville High School to service students who may need ESOL services or transcripts evaluated.

Transferring from another school outside Baltimore County?

Incoming 9th graders will need their final 8th grade report card proving promotion to high school. The intended high school will NOT include this in your child’s transfer packet, and it must come from middle school. Be sure to complete ALL the items before making an appointment.

****MAGNET STUDENTS****

If your student is being enrolled at OVERLEA due to them being accepted into a MAGNET PROGRAM and YOU DO NOT reside within the ZONE. You will need to make an enrollment appointment and complete the registration process. You will also need to complete a SPECIAL PERMISSION FORM to be included with your enrollment.
