Dr. Monica Sample
Principal 

Dr. Monica Sample is currently the principal of Overlea High School of Baltimore County Public Schools. Dr. Sample earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages with a minor in secondary education from James Madison University in Harrisonburg Virginia. In addition, Dr. Sample earned a Master of Science degree from Towson University with a concentration in Human Resource development and a doctoral of education degree with a concentration in Urban Educational Leadership from Morgan State University.

Dr. Sample has spent her professional career in Baltimore County by previously serving as a high school Spanish teacher and Assistant Principal.

Dr. Sample is passionate about education and believes that children are our primary clients and deserve our unconditional support each day. Dr. Sample resides in Harford County where she is a wife and mother of two daughters.

Terrance Robinson

Mr. Terrence Robinson is currently an Assistant principal of Overlea High School of Baltimore County Public Schools. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in secondary education from Towson University. In addition, he earned a Master of Human Resources with a focus on Educational Leadership from Towson University.

Mr. Robinson has spent his entire 17 years of public education working for Baltimore County Public Schools. The last ten of those years has been serving the Rosedale/Overlea community as both a teacher and Assistant Principal at Golden Ring Middle School and Assistant Principal at Overlea High School. Mr. Robinson is truly passionate about serving all students and believes that all students can, and will achieve.

Mr. Michael Silverman is currently an assistant principal at Overlea High School of Baltimore County Public Schools. Mr. Silverman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education K-12 from Salisbury University. In addition, Mr. Silverman earned a Master of Science degree from Concordia University-Irvine with a concentration in Athletic Administration and a Master of Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University.

Mr. Silverman has spent his 15 years in Baltimore County by previously serving as a high school Physical Education teacher, Chair of Physical Education and Health, and Athletic Director. In addition, Mr. Silverman has served as Athletic Director and Assistant Head of School at a private high school.

Mr. Silverman is passionate about education and serving all stakeholders within the community. Mr. Silverman resides in Baltimore County where he and his wife, Bethany, have a son, Charlie, and daughter, Peyton.

Mrs. Rudolph

Mrs. Tammy Rudolph is an assistant principal at Overlea High School of Baltimore County Public Schools. Mrs. Rudolph earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Towson University. Her undergraduate degree is in Mathematics with a concentration in secondary education. Mrs. Rudolph's master's degree is in Educational Leadership.

Mrs. Rudolph has over 20 years in Baltimore County, starting as a high school math teacher. Other BCPS roles include department chair, supervisor of mathematics in central office, magnet coordinator, and instructional coach. Mrs. Rudolph is very excited to be an AP at the O!

Mrs. Rudolph lives in Baltimore County and is a proud alumni of BCPS. She is married to a BCPS PE teacher and has two children: one is a BCPS math teacher and the other a BCPS student.

Ms. Cartwright

Ms. Gigi Ayeh-Cartwright is the Assistant Principal at Overlea High School. Ms. Cartwright earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual certification in Elementary and Special education. She began her leadership journey at Johns Hopkins University and completed her Master of Science in Educational Leadership at Grand Canyon University.

Ms. Cartwright began her educational career as an Instructional Assistant and was encouraged to earn her teaching credentials. After obtaining her degree she began teaching special education to middle school students. Over the next 25 years she practiced her craft as an educator by seeking experiences in elementary and middle schools and spent most of that time supporting families with students in high school.

Ms. Cartwright has a passion for supporting students and encouraging excellence in our scholars. She is both patient and knowledgeable and will do all she can to ensure that each of our students has access to a high-quality education and is treated fairly while preparing for college and career readiness.
