June 11, 2019 CONGRATULATIONS to the new Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board for the 2019-2020 school year!

PRESIDENT – Damilola Dipe (’20)

VICE-PRESIDENT – Pelumi Arebisola (’20)

SECOND VICE-PRESIDENT – TBD c/o of 2023

SECRETARY – Vacant until fall 2019

TREASUREER – Teddana Hobbins (’20)

PUBLICIST – Maya Griffin (’21)

 

In September the SGA will start the year by attending the Baltimore County Student Leadership Workshop at River Valley Ranch then move directly into organizing homeroom representative elections.  It is at that time we will also be looking to the incoming class of 2023 to elect executive board representation for the office of Second Vice-President.

The purpose of the Student Government Association is to serve as an organization to hear concerns made by students, and to meditate these concerns to the faculty and the administration in an amicable, respectful, and tactful manner, as well as to lead various projects and service work aimed for the betterment of Overlea High School and the surrounding community. The Student Government Association will work in alliance with the Overlea High School vision: to ensure the sound judgment, academic skill set, and perseverance necessary to succeed in and make contributions to a globally competitive society.​​​​​​
